Let me introduce you the first issue of Thewayyoulook! A magazine about sustainable fashion, mindful consumption and natural minimalism.
Thewayyoulook is about how you look at fashion and how you express your vision through your actions and how you look like.
However, at a time when the September issues of fashion magazines are the biggest, fattest, and most important (do you remember 916 pages of Vogue’s September 2012 issue??) because of large investments of advertisers, showcased fall/winter trends, September Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Paris, and Milan, more accessories and articles of clothing for the fall and winter months than spring and summer, releases lookbooks of all high-end and highstreet designers, we will break stereotypes and destroy the foundations.
And the theme of September is a “change in thinking”.
On the pages of the issue, we will learn to hear ourselves, to be closer to ourselves and our desires, finding joy in familiar things.
After all, in the fall, you rather want not trends, but comfort.
Because autumn is first of all a time of yellow rustling leaves, cozy plaids, cashmere sweaters, pumpkin pies, soulful jazz, tart wine, plaid suits, rain on the roof, long series with an unexpected end, late implicit dawns and swift sunsets, woolen coats, thoughtful books, the aroma of plum jam in the kitchen, mint-lemon tea before bedtime, gentle hugs under a duvet .... and incredible new ideas, because the 1st of September for each of us from childhood is always the beginning of something new: new knowledge, new acquaintances, new impressions... and even though we have grown up, there is a starting point for the beginning of something good. And this is wonderful!
So let's stop, breathe in the autumn air and think. After all, thoughts entail conscious actions, and then no conglomerates, marketers and trendsetters will be able to influence our will to conscious shopping and positive purchases.
Let's look ahead, live beautifully and dream consciously.
Let new tasks open up new opportunities, and new horizons follow new knowledge.
